THE SENIOR CLASS Was Shakespeare correct when he said Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and is heard no more, it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. ? Are we nothing but thespians wandering on the stage of life with no purpose? lf we accept this at face value, we may find ourselves leaping from bridges while we pull others with us! Our present educational effort is but a scene, we must make the most of our talents in order to add to the plot, for the last act may bring down the curtain sooner than we expect. The lines to speak are ours, but the Director knows what we should say. Senior guys Annf Bvrb, Martha, Linda, Joanne P.D., Coach Sabock, Mark Now the real trick to being MGX head major is balancing this confounded hat, 49 30 JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS: Dick Andrews, Vice Presidentg Ira Porterfield, President, Jeff Lowman, Treasurer, Barbara Miller, Secretary, THE JUNIOR CLASS I feel proud to have been elected as President of my Junior class. It has provided for me an oppor- tunity to work with and to represent an outstanding group of people. The excellent co-operation of my classmates and their willingness to accept responsi- bility has made my task a pleasant one. We have all worked very hard throughout the year in an effort to finance our major activity, the Junior Senior Prom. As a class we have set and tried to achieve many goals. I believe that members of the class will be successful in their varied ventures and that they will continue to exert the kind of enthusiasm and leadership, which will help insure the development of a better world. It is my hope that we as a class have broadened our knowledge and can use it beneficially in future years. On behalf of the members of the class of 'I964,' I should like to express our thanks and appreciation to both the teaching and administra- tive staff for their excellent guidance and council. Nix, au- CHIE OKAKI Miss Chie Okaki has been our American Field Service exchange student this year. Her home is in Hiroshima, Japan. I am happy to be surrounded by really nice friends, was Chie's comment on her stay in Worthing- ton. She has enjoyed all of her sub- iects, but has found speech the most rewarding, since she is plan- ning on becoming an interpreter after finishing her education. Chie has telt as though she were a true part of her American family, the James Chapmans. She has be- come especially close to her Ameri- can sister, Linda. We at Worthington High School have been privileged to have Chie with us. 'Q ls Row 'I: B. Hughes, L. Greenleaf, H. Baugh, G. Hudnall, R. Morris, J. Knezevich C . Robbins, P. Ross, L. Maxwell, C.
