BILL HOPKINS Class Treasurer 3-4 Track 3-4 Intramural Basketball 2-3--I Sr. Class Play SE IOR CL SS HISTORY From our l9-18 graduating class of approximately seventy students, only nine started out their school career together twelve years ago. These nine include age Brightman, Bob Foster,7Tad Kready, LaDonna Lawless, Ccneva Laws. Io Severance, Donna Snouffer, Dick Snouffer, and john Wood. Our growing class braved the diilicultics of moving from one building to another, having spent the first grade in the old building, the second grade in the gymnasium of the high school, and linally initiating the present elementary building while they were in the third grade. Our Freshman year brought in new students from Linworth, llomedale, and Flint. We had two presidents that year, joan Morrow and john Wood. A Freshman square dance and a box social were the main events of the year along with Donna Snouffer as our re resentative for Homecoming. York Temple Country Cfiab was the site of our class picnic. As president of the Sophomore class, Sonny Iarrett successfully led us through an exciting magazine sale. Our Homecoming attendant was Ioan Mosher. The Sophomore picnic was held at the Columbus Zoo Park. C143 We were quite busy during our Iunior year. Nancy Cerhart was elected president and eapably saw us through a successful bake sale and the class play Mt: and Mrs. North. Barbara Brown contributed to the suc- cess of Homecoming as junior attendant. We took over the concession stand at all home football games, and with this source of income, we helped to put over a wonder- ful nlunior-Senior banquet and prom at the end of the year. A most enjoyable picnic at Indian Lake was a final event. Our Senior year has been our busiest and, we hope, our most successful. Our president, Don Custer, has worked quite hard organizing various committees and taking over the duties of his office. We consider our greatest undertaking to be the Cardinal. Our Home- coming festivities included the crowning of Queen Carol Kauffman. Barbara Brown was again attendant. She Stoops to Conquer was our contribution to the dramatic world. A class picnic and Junior-Senior at the close of the year helped to create memories which we, as Seniors, will never forget.
