Class History When the 1957-58 school year opened, a group of fifty-seven freshmen came through the south doors of the section of the building remainin ft t g a er he fire in 1956. This began the events by which we slowly took our place in the history of our school. To us each event h b ' as ecome of more importance from the day of our freshmen initiation to our junior-senior banquet and prom. In our sophomore year we began to find our places in high school life, and our interests were aroused as th t - ' ' ' ' ' e ex ra curricular activities increased. During our junior year we were kept busy earning money and ta.king part in important school affairs. We presented our first la L t A p y, e Me Out of Here. In addition we entertained the senior class of 1960 at a junior-senior banquet and prom using the theme, Cinderella Ball. Time rolled on and we became the senior class of 1960-61. This year the members of our class have held leading roles in many major activities from band and pep squad to all t F spor s. or our play we presented The Case of the Missing Heirs and Great Smokiesf' We are looking forward to graduation-the climax of our high school adventure-when time will come to a standstill just long enough for the seniors of '61 to receive their diplomas and awards of service.
