Text from Pages 1 - 96 of the 1979 volume:

We dedicate this 1979 edition of The Trojan to Mr. Al Carter. Al has been a custodian at Worden High for 13 years. During these years he has displayed a lot of hard work, and at the same time he has expressed a feeling of humor and understanding to all who have associated with him. Al takes a lot of pride in his work and because of his unique character everyone can say that there is no one else quite like Al. Akiko Inoue Akiko Inoue is our new foreign exchange student from Tokyo, Japan. She was born in Tokyo and has lived there all of her life. She comes from a family of five. Akiko’s hobbies are snowskiing, fencing, and playing the piano. Her favorite foods are pizza and spaghetti. Akiko seems to have a special talent for making friends and making people laugh.
