Congratulations, Class of 1965, upon your fine performance and lead- ership at Worcester Tech. This was indeed a memorable year to be a senior. As you look back on this Centennial Year, you will re- member with pleasure and perhaps with some nostalgia that you were on Boynton Hill when Worcester Tech completed its first century. Just as the graduates who trod the floors of Boyn- ton Hall before you have given Wor- cester Tech its present stature by their accomplishments, so, too, will this Class of 1965 make its own page in Tech history. With mixed emotions, we receive the excellent 1965 Peddler; it means the nearing of the end of our pleasant and worth-while associations with you as undergraduates, but it also means that you are now ready to leave behind those good old days and move into that demanding world for which you have so long and carefully prepared. May your direction always be up — that is the Worcester Tech way. The world before you is beset with problems which previous genera- tions have never known. But then, your generation is prepared as none ever was before you to solve them. Look for opportunities to serve, to give. Your personal reward will be di- rectly proportionate to what you give of yourself. Take pride that you have already given of yourselves to help make Wor- cester Tech the fine school it is.
