Whereas, since we last met as a class, an all-wise Prov¬ idence has seen fit to take from our midst one of our best beloved and most respected classmates, Joseph Albree, Jr., and as we wish to express our sorrow and deep sense of loss, to the family and friends of him whose career of use¬ fulness has been so untimely arrested ; Be it Resolved : That we, the members of the class of ’84, do wear, for the next thirty days, a badge of crepe, as an emblem of our sorrow; and Be it Resolved : That the date of his death, and a copy of these resolutions, be inscribed in the class records, and that a copy be forwarded to the family of the deceased as a mark of our heartfelt sympathy in their bereavement. 25
