A ' .5 Late in the Fall, a meeting was called to elect Sophomore officers. ' f Our Freshmen officers had been so satisfactory, that, with the excep- W I 1 X 1 X tion of Florence Gallagher, who left the school, they were re-elected l with Wilbilr Barr as treasurer. The Britomart and the Assembly were looking for new members, Q7 xx and several of our classmates were accepted by them. ,I ,612 Class games once more. Sorrow, in that Mr. Jackson, whom we had loved and revered y - as a true friend, had resigned as Principal of the School. THE LOLLIPOP GIRLS of C'onnuerce Orchestra, which is second only to the Boston Syniphony Orchestra, Tl1e Gleesters, composed of some of our digniiied teachers, and the UUIIIIIIQFCC Fhoral Club, which we are safe in sayirg will he a, howling success. The tirst social function of the Blackfriars Ulub took place in January. The party was thoroughly enjoyed by all a11d proved con- clusively that there 's real stuff in the Blackfriars Club. Oh yes, we have a debating teani, and wide awake one at that. But how could it be otherwise with such brilliant orators as Samuel Stayinan, Louis Berkovitz, Sooren Alexanian and Eli Sandman? The BI'lf0lll2lI't girls have certainly kept things humming. The boys will have to admit, after enjoying the Britoniart party at Green Hill, that the girls cannot-be outdone for entertaining. This year the girls entered the interscholastic basket ball league, with the result that they ran away with the trophy. VVe girls hoped the 22
