Worked for the American Telephone and Telegraph Company, and the Manufacturers' Trust Company, New York City, 1928-1930. Supervisor of Music in Greenfield Public Schools, Greenfield, Mass., 1932-1935. Attended the Concord Summer School ot Music, Concord, Mass., for tour years. Came to Worcester in 1935 as Instructor in German and Harmony. Director ot Glee Club. Honorary member ot Class of 1938. Attended Middlebury School ot German, summer of 1939. Employed in statistical and research department of Esterbrook and Company, Boston, 1927-1930, and for four years in the operating department of the Shell Oil Company, 1931-1935. Came to Worcester in 1935 as Business Manager. ROY CHESTER BARKER English and Coach of Tennis Was graduated from Weslyan University in 1936 with an A.B. degree.
