People Woonsocket takes on new image Mrs. Larson, annual advisor, assists Carrie Olinger with her annual pages. Senior boys Chad Brosnan and Brian Georgen dance at the prom with Mrs. Larson and Mrs. Pischke The old cliche' Turning over a new leaf appropriately describes the changed feel- ings displayed by the people in the Woonsocket School System. Six teachers, a new superintendent, and a renovated school brought about a changed attitude. The people of Woonsocket High School decided the first day of school that they would change the school's image. Students decided that accepting responsi- bility for their actions wasn’t always as much fun as the pranks pulled, and as a result, homecoming passed without the destructive decorating of previous years. The students and teachers traveled to- gether to many things such as hearing the Vice President of the United States speak in Mitchell, a Marine-band concert, and various music and vocation- al contests. The students behaved ma- turely and Woonsocket High School re- gained some lost respect. i « I ‘1 V A
