If you were to ask a number of different people to define expectations you may get a number of different answers, but according to the dictionary expectations are the acts or states of expecting. As you go through this book expect to see a number of things that happened in the year of 1981. We as high school students know that every year of high school gets closer to the final year. Many things are expected of us everyday and when the time comes for us to leave this school, we have reached a major milestone in our lives. But it is really then that we will know the meaning of expectations. When you look at this book expect it to bring back memories of the past year. 1981 grew with us and we grew with 1981.
