■ SENIORS Dominate Carnival All of the classes again tried to outdo the other for the honor of having their candidates reign. The carnival is an annual event held each year to raise money for the PTA. This year the senior class took top honors for the second time in their high school careers. The seniors raised $450.75 by having a senior breakfast and selling chances on $35 cash. The Freshmen learned fast the meaning of competition as they came in second with $325.19. In order to raise money they had a bake sale, cake raffle, sold carameled apples at a football game, and sold chances on a clock radio. Following the Freshmen were the Sophomores raising $294.25. They cleaned house, had a bake sale, sold hot apple cider at a football game, and sold chances on gas. The Junior class raised $170.08. They had a car wash, raked lawns, and sold chances of $35 worth of groceries. Above: Mr. Peterson shows his kids a good time at carnival, while at the right the sophomore and freshmen attendants await the decision. 8
