Also contributing to their fine year were Henry Fernandes and Bud Lanctot, who were both named to the All-Division 2nd team. The high point of the year was beating Mount St. Charles 2-1. That win marked the first time Woonsocket beat Mount at M.S.C. Row 3: Coach Briggs, Michelle Bibeault, Judy Marcinkiewicz, Chris Beaudry, Barbara Morisseau. The Cross Country team finished with the best record in the history of the sport at WHS. The team, which boasted a 10-1 record, was led by senior All-Stater Chris Beaudry (Co-captain). Beaudry was also named All-Division along with seniors Barbara Morisseau (Co-captain) and Judy Marcinkiewicz. The team also finished eighth in the State Championship meet. ftelfr [ atkt 3 The Field Hockey team made the state playoffs for the first time in Woonsocket High School history, finishing with a 5-4-2 record. Seniors Julie Porter and Mickey Cauvin made First team All-Division as they led their team to a third place division finish. Freshman Jennifer Allaire and senior Diane Marquis made Second team All-Division, while juniors Heidi Tet-reault and Debbie Prudhomme received Honorable Mentions.
