Row 3: Coach Briggs, Michelle Bibeault, Judy Marcinkiewicz, Chris Beaudry, Barbara Morisseau. The Cross Country team finished with the best record in the history of the sport at WHS. The team, which boasted a 10-1 record, was led by senior All-Stater Chris Beaudry (Co-captain). Beaudry was also named All-Division along with seniors Barbara Morisseau (Co-captain) and Judy Marcinkiewicz. The team also finished eighth in the State Championship meet. Led by senior Mike Dalom-ba and junior Dan Boisvert, the team finished with a 6-1 dual meet record and fared well in seven major meets. Dan Boisvert, Mike Dalomba, and freshman Matt Pignolet earned All-Class honors, and Mike Dalomba earned All-State honors. Also contributing to their fine year were Henry Fernandes and Bud Lanctot, who were both named to the All-Division 2nd team. The high point of the year was beating Mount St. Charles 2-1. That win marked the first time Woonsocket beat Mount at M.S.C.
