141 WOONSOCKET ENIOR HIGH mei- N Mah nuff ggi . WHAT'S COOKIN' Domestic Science OURSES in domestic science are becoming increasingly popular in schools throughout the country because the young women of America still in school are determined to do their part in the war effort. They are conscientiously learning to prepare efficiently and economically well- oalanced meals and always keep in inind the necessity of conservation of such com- modities as meat, sugar and butter and other rationed foods. As a result of their training in the art of sewing, not only are they busily work- ing on Red Cross projects, but also they are reviving the pioneer spirit of the early days by mal-:ing many of their own clothes. They are the future wives and moth- ers of the nation upon whose shoulders will rest the responsibility of safeguarde ing the health of America. 'There is no doubt that these girls will reach their goal because they have been scientifically trained beforehand. KEEP 'EM STITCHIN'
