THE UNTOLD TORY EDEN C. BELANGER 1. My most embarrassing moment was in my Sophomore year, fno thatis not alll and I was put into my first High School girls bas- ketball game. I made a fantastic steal, raced by two opponents. flew through the air, did a fancy right handed shot and put two on the board for the other team. ROGER POWELL ' 3. Not to be prejudice of the special educa- tion students. JULIE NASH I. On my birthday 110th gradej when a bunch of my friends made a cake that was supposed to look like me, that was shaped like a girl they put Hminaturei' Marshmal- lows for the CENSORED! The worst was then they paraded around the lunch room with it! JOE REYNOLDS 1. During lunch. Mr. Vandeboe pointed at me as he walked past. I pointed back at him, but with a different finger. Little did I know Mr. Sorenson was standing behind me. He put his hands on my shoulders and said, Would you like to explain that to Mr. Van- deboe? He then shouted across the lunch- room to Mr. Vandeboe and I explained what I had done. 3. I learned not to point at Mr. Vandeboe without looking to see if anyone is watching. LORI SMITH 1. My most embarrassing experience was in my Junior year when Ann Cross and I went on the King Tut field trip with the school and were left at Seattle Center because we missed the bus back. JANET HOOVER 1. My most embarrassing moment was when Tory Simons untied my shirt i11 Biology class and it fell off! t DOUG BLACKWELL 1. In my Sophomore year when Heidi Aem- mer and Jenny Vandemer dragged me into the girls bathroom and as I'turned around to walk out I ran into Mrs. Steben who gave me a tour of the place. KRIS NORDSTROM 1. My most memorable and embarrassing moment was at DECA'S Governors Confer- ence when Doug a11d I got busted in our room and sent home all the way from Spo- kane, and I was DECA President. 2. I will my high top tennis shoes which I wore every day this year with my nice dress slacks to Krista Berquist wholll Iim sure ap- preciate their true value. TAMI PRATT 1. In my Junior year I was walking up to the front of Mrs. Driscollis class to turn in a pa- per and I tripped and slid across the front of the room on my Knees! J. CONSTANTINO 2. I, .I. Constantino, will to Julie Rogers the ability to properly T.P.i' a house. To Kent Jewel my upper lip to play those triple high C's . To Bob Fudge my extremely nimble fingers so he may continue his favorite course, Typing! And finally to Scott Ster- land my great, knowledge of Geometry! 3. My most valuable lesson was learning how to play a chord on the piano. I would have learned more but Greg Woodroof was my teacher. and we all know how slow Greg Woodroof thinks, yet teaches. KYM D. DYER 2. I will all my high heels to Audrey Walsh. 3. Not to take people for their face value ev- eryone deserves the change to be known be- fore you make judgments on their charac- ter. GIGI REED 1. When my parents and myself and Kathy Woodfield went to an Everett basketball game the car stopped at the light. Dad rev- ved the engine, and the car died 011 COLBY! We pushed it along, until we found a gas sta- tion. 3. Never wear a skirt on a windy day! A very memorable moment, Shelly! Thanks for the lesson! SANDY SCRIBNER 2. To Mr. Vandeboe, I will a lifeis supply of milk. x UVCVLY DON HOPKINS 1. Jumping off a bank in an attempt to es- cape Mr. Wadell and watching a friend swan dive down the bank and fall on his face. CATHY HAKOLA 1. In my Sophomore year the band went to the Lilac Festival Parade in Spokane. While I marched down the street and watched all the guys go by. I stepped in a horse pie in front of the whole crowd. 9 HOLLY BARRETT I. My most embarrassing nionicnt was dur- ing soeccr practice when Audrey and Iska pulled the trim on my shorts which split the seam, and there I was with two pieces of nia- terial flapping in the breeze. 2. I. Holly Barrett. will to the future drum- mers at Woodway, the ability to go through three great years in the band without learn- ing to read notes. ANITA HEALY I. Holly B. and I went down to McDonalcl's for our usual lunch. After placing our order. I pulled forward, only to hit the pole just before the window. Everyone came outside to look. including the manager! To this day there's a dent in that pole . . . and my car. 3. How to pass Sr. Social Studies with your eyes closed . . . seriously!! My most memorable moment is the time I went to a Woodway dance and forgot to wear socks, my feet stuck to the floor and when I want to move it made a sound like the Tidy Bowl man was drowning. 2. I will my little sister Melinda Christine DePriest fthe Spedl to anyone who wants her. RICH LINES 1. My most memorable moment was when Kathie Adams made a sundae in my mouth in an an assembly in my sophomore year. SHERI JONES 3. Don't judge people by how they dressg get to know them! Chances are thcy're just as weird as you are! TRACI LOCKHART I. When I was with the band at the Husky Band Day and swallowed a bee that was floating in my Coke. It stung me on my tongue and I screamed in front of all the Husky fans! 2. I. Traci Lockhart. being of sound mind and empty pocket. hereby will to next year's Rally Squad a Legg's nylon factory. 3. Never ever open a door before you peek through the crack because Mr. Waddel might be standing there to catch you skipp- ing! BOB KINNEY 2. I will to anyone who is stuck here any- lll0I'C all the good times of high school and to Flipper someone who works as hard as I did. 3. I learned that Mr. Phillips. though he may seem a bit unique, can be a pretty great gui'- KELLEE SWARTZELL I. When the Band went to Spokane in '78 some guys were trying to throw me in the swimming pool and my bathing suit top came undone and Gary Hoskins took a pic- Illl'C. SE IOR COMMENTS 2. I will to Karryn Meeker my great ability to get lost any time I leave home. KATHY MCDONALD I. Out of all my embarrassing experiences. the wo1'st had to have been Homecoming in my Sophomore year. I was in charge of band uniforms. I gave Linda Basel the bell set to take care of for me. She then pro- ceeded to leave them in the band room. Half way to Edmonds I discovered I had no bells to play. What made it even worse was trying to explain it to Mr. C. I missed the Homecoming Parade because I had to ride back to WHS in a cop's car to get the bells. We made it round trip, lights flashing, in 10 minutes. SANDRA NEUSCHWANDER I. My most memorable experience at WHS was in Mr. Lee Evans Sophomore English class. We just got back some tests, and I was mad at the grade I got. so I wrote a nasty tQx?!Q '!D note to him in German on the back of my test before I remembered we had to hand them back in. The next day I got my test back complete with an answer in German. to my note from Mr. Evans. 3. Never write a nasty fQx?lQ:'g!l note to a teacher i11 German unless you're SURE they donit know the language!! STACY OiBRIEN 2. I will to my brother. Steve, my nickname, O'Brain. If he's on his toes next year he should will the same name to our next brother. Brady. who could use it more than both of us. 3. Well. it's like my greatgrandfatller used to tell me. if it's 11ot one thing it's another. NANCY HUNTER 3. My most valuable lesson learned at Wood- way was never sell a button to a sophomore!! LISA GORDON 1. My most embarrassing moment was in sophomore English with Ms. Hall. She told us the reason why they didn't have a pay phone outside was because people were put- ting slugs in it. I loudly said, OH GROSS tshe was talking about fake coins.j 2. I. Lisa Gordon, will to Steve O'Brien my Famous Gourmet Cook Book How to Cook Your Family Pet For Dinner For Fun and Profit . Then he could start a Puppy Pudding chain and get rich if medical school doesn't work. 3. I learned that even though kids and adults disagree a lot of the time. if pushed far enough. they will band together and fight for a mutual goal. tYou know what I'm discussing now don't you, Lubash and' Allenj .IACQUE PICCHENA I. When learning to drive a stick shift in Drivers Ed.. with my scat belt on tight, foot on the brake, clutch pushed in. motor run- ning smoothlyg fo1'ehead sweatingg I grabbed the windshield wipers and shifted to DRIVE.
