This was the third year in a row that they reached rc-gionals and the team placed second in Vlleseo and in N. W. Distrirt. Our out- standing seniors: Patty Baird. Shelly Barnard. Eden Belanger. Darlene Cook, 81 Ann Cross lcd the team to an ending season of 18-7. Additional assets for the Walrritxrs were junior Staey Hul- bakken. the top scorer, and sophomore Anya Aardahl who started at guard. Their record ended with four wins and six losses, finishing fourth in the Edmonds Dis- trict. Throughout the season the team showed great spirit and dedication. Also for you trivia buffs: Our cross country team went un- defeated in the 1979-80 NFL fNerf Football Leaguel season beating the Mountlake Terrace Hawks 42-0 in the Superbowl played at Skagit Community College.
