Debate speaks out Woodway's debate team has shown remarkable effort and success as they participated in their first year of competition. Their advisor, Mr. Greeves, is very optimistic about the future of his club. They placed high in district competition and in meets held at Western Wash- ington State College, the Uni- versity of Puget Sound, and in Snohomish. Because of the age factor, de- bate members had to compete in the junior division. Hope- fully, by next year, the debate team will be able to partici- pate in the senior division--- thus e arning the recognition they deserve. On the opening trip of the season, the mem- bers s c h u s h b oomed, sitzmarked, and skied their way over the glistening pow- der snow at Mt. Baker. F urthe r trips were tak en to White Pass, Stevens and Snoqualmie Passes, Crystal Mt. , and a final overnight stay was planned for Mt. Baker.
