Early Preparations In order to prepare the school for student oc- cupancy, principals, secretaries, counselors and other Work crews met daily at Woodway one month before classes began in September. Be c au s e Woodway High School had only two classes, s opho mo r e s and juniors, with no seniors, it was also temporary headquarters for Brier junior High School and for Edmonds Community College. It was oft en necessary for personnel from each of the three units to Wait their turn to use classrooms. Mose, as he is affectionately called, answered calls for help promptly. 1 Our principal, Mr. Davis, had the added handicap of moving with a cast on his leg, the result of a summer accident.
