It is also one of the largest and most active high school aiumnai associations in the entire nation. In addition, its members have included such personages as a President of the United States, Senators, Congressmen, Admirals, Generals, Educators, professional people, and many others who have distinguished them- selves locally, nationally, and internationally. Truly, the graduates of Woodward High School have something to be proud of, something that the majority of high school grad- uates and even some college graduates don't have -- heritage, a heritage that is embodied in and perpetuated by the Alumnal Association. The Alumnal Association continually strives to enhance this heritage. This is ac- complished in many ways. The most recent is through the Elsa and Cliff Heisel Medal of Merit Award. This medai is awarded on a strictly academic basis to the student who attains the highest four-year academic record. This medal was awarded for the first time to a student in the 1962 Graduating Class. Annual Reunions are held each year the closest Saturday to March 8th, Wiliiam Woodward's birthday. 242 I , nm-m 1:: WYOMING FLORIST Marie 81 Herman Benken 502 Wyoming Ave. 821-3931 In the Heart of the Valley Best Wishes to the Class of '75 G.C. The staff would like to thank the following people without whose excellent support the WOODWARD TREASURES could not have become a reality. Dick Chiara, our American Yearbook Representative, was there with the helping mind and hand when the staff was backed into a corner. Pat McKenrick, Executive Studios, and his troupe of pro- fessional photographers, along with Bud Johnson, lab manager, again provided loyal service. We also wish to thank Mrs, Juanita Evans for her help in yearbook sales and Ben Kendrick who as- sisted our staff photographer Mike Neugebauer. A special thanks from my staff must go to our advisor, Mr. Michael Ferguson, without whom the 1975 WOODWARD TREASURES might still be in the planning stage. It was his boost when the times were rough that kept us working on this book and made a dream come true. Lance Silburn Editor, 75 Treasures
