We, the graduating class of 1951, are faced with the challenge of making a world of peace and security in which freedom is the keynote. We are setting out into a world whose uncertain future depends Upon the ability of our generation to govern wisely and well. As we face the future, we should have no fear in our hearts or lack of confidence in our abilities, because we have received here at Woodward a firm knowldge and thorough preparation for the responsibilities of living in an adult world. In that adult world which we are about to enter we will be faced with many problems which will challenge our abilities to meet them squarely and solve them wisely. Though we are leaving Woodward, Woodward will never leave us. Throughout our lives we will again and again be reminded of the valuable lessons We have learned here - lessons which will did us in becoming better citizens and the making of a better and more peaceful world.
