After reading their textbooks on the course require- . mom's, the girls are tested on paper and in the water. TUMBLINE The Tumbling Team is connmsed of a group of girls who are interested in tumbling and are willing to learn through hard and conscientious praclice the fundamentals of tumbling. First the tumhiers are taught simpic stunts such us forward rolls, backward rolls, and head stands. VVhen these are mastered. harder stunts Eike Chest rolls and hnnclsprings are taught. and from there they combine. the slunts and Iorm exercises. The tumbling team is umler the capable direction of hirs. Edna Rehkamp, who is also their faculty advisor. BAND VVoodward High School is proud to present its uniformed hand. The yeal 1946-47 found Woodward's Band backing up the football team by participating at eight games. The new uniforms showed up well on the field as the hand ma- neuvered through intricate letters and stunts. A selected group played for a section meeting or the Southwestern Ohio Teachers. Association. The next event the band played tor was Founder's Day, Wlarch 7th. The two major engagements for the remainder of the year were the Spring Band Concert, April 25th, and the Memorial Day Paracte, Ntay 30th. The Woodward Band reached its highest enrollment to ctatc early this spring. with a total membership of 82.
