The Class of Nineteen Forty-One has the honor of being the First class to be graduated under the principalship of Dr. Leon D. Peastee. We admit ttmt we regretted to have N111 Arthur Jones leave us; we had grown accustomed to the fine mild-mannerect gentleman. 1n the course ot the year. how- ever, we have learned to love and respect, equally. our new principal. We have been impressed with his sense of fair play and his thorough scholarship. We enjoyed tits tectures in the auditorium and admire his knowledge of outdoor life and nature lore. We feel that Dr. Peastee is a valuable acquisitiort tor Woodward High School and that he is, in every way, worthy to take his place in the long illustrious line or Woodwards principals. We Feel that he possesses that human tnSigtit and sympathy which Wittiam Woodward might expect of one who is destineot to guide our school in the spirit ot the Founder.
