4 . ..... Sembrs of Sneak ag 0 0Ut '0 Everyone arrived at the schoolhouse bright and early Tuesday morning so we could get an early start for our big day. Although everyone looked half asleep, we managed to get started by 7:15. After a long ride, we arrived at the city of Indianola. Upon arrival the girls decided they wanted to stay and look around. We convinced the bus driver, Mr. Johnson, that he should come back for us and so we started our sight-seeing tour. The boys went on to Lake Acquabi State Park. Around the hour of 10:30, Mr. Johnson came back for us and we joined the boys for a pic- nic. Everyone had plenty to eat, even if we did forget the weiners and had to buy some more. Everything tasted wonderful, especially the cupcakes. That is right isn't it Dale? After our picnic we climbed into the bus and made our way to Des Moines. In Des Moines the first places we visited were the Capitol and the His- torical Building. When everyone had climbed stairs until their legs ached, we left for the Art Center. Our tour through the Art Center ended, and we found we had two hours left before dinner, so some went downtown shopping and others went to the park to play softball. At 5:30 we met at Sammy and Mae's for dinner. Afterward some of us took in the show and others went to the ballgame. At 11:00 a tired, but happy, bunch started for home. Everyone had a wonderful time. 1 -c CREAM 0000 F000 FQlhu..i,
