They also hosted a speech and debate tournament December 14 and 15 with the annual Children's Theatre following in the spring. On October 8. they installed the officers and new members. At their first meeting. Carol Suttle from Southwestern Bell talked about the advancements being made in the telephone company. Later in the year. they had a Christmas party, ' a make-up lesson. and a panel discussion made up of business personnel. Their first activity was welcoming the new teachers with an apple the first day of school. They also had a Christmas party and attended the State Convention at O.S.U. in March.
