All-SChOOl DLA The four one-act plays were presented March 11 with a cast representing the upper four grades. Girls Must Talk finds Caro1Bruns andJoyceTau1ker as window dressers arrang- ing finery on dummies Vicky Blackmore, Gail Frobose, Dewanna Lisk and Mary Lou Taulker, who manage to say quite a bit both in their own behalf and to the disparagement of window dressers in general. In Playwright's Dilemma, Allan Koch portrays the playwright who is trying to decide how to end his play. Nothing he works out with the aid of his characters CBobby Ameling, Marilyn Avers, Pat Wilkolek, Bob Bockbrader, Wade Schulte, and Dave Youngj seems to please him. At last, when almost in desperation, he hits upon the solution to his dilemma. Hour of Honor concerns a man who has let his son take the blame for a crime which he himself committed. The man QDave Youugj has failed to keep the one promise exacted by the son when the latter took upon himself the father's guilt and punishment. Suspecting that the father may know why the son has grown so bitter during his stay in prison, the uncle QEd Bottsy attempts to force the issue and learn the truth on the very day when the son, having served his sentence, is expected home. The roles of the mother, the fiancee, and the neighbor are portrayed respectively by Mary Lou Niedermeier, Miriam Obermyer, and Carol Meyer. The action of The Valiant revolves around a man condemned to death. The role of the prisoner-to-be-executed is taken by Ed Bottsg the warden, by Allen Crandallg the prison chaplain, by Ed Brunsg the girl, by Virginia Camperg the jailer and the attendant by Galen Sandwisch and Abe Alba, respectively.
