SODHOINGRES The Sophomores held their second annual Box Social and Faculty Auction in the fall of '54, The boxes were bigger and better: the auctioneer was livelier, although the profit wasn't as large. Both years it proved to be an evening filled with fun. This project was followed by plans for an All-Winter Scrap Drive which netted the class good returns and kept them busy on week-ends, The majority of the class helped to pick up corn in the late fall, and this added a substantial sum to their treasury although it required much physical exertion.
