CLASS PROPHECY The literary committee was very much at loss on how we would find out the futures of our classmates until one day we got a secret message from Madam Lazonga who offered to let us look into her crystal ball to see our classmates ten years from now. We proceeded very cautiously to her hide-a-way and when we had entered, she bade us look into the crystal ball. What's this we see in the crystal ball? Ah] Give us our magnifying glass. Why, it's Mildred Anderson, chewing gum queen, who now owns the largest bubble gum manufacturing plant in the world. Mildred is really stuck on her job. Next we see Bass's Casino, located on the by-pass just outside of Woodville. Buddy's place is one of the largest night- clubs in the South and is well-known for its beautifyl chorus girls. Up at Notre Dame we find Joe Bullock, famous Woodville High football player, who is now coaching the Notre Dame team. 1 hey haven11 lost a game in rive successive years. Therefs not one player on the team that doesn't have that famous Bullock wave. Gazing into the crystal ball we see a 50,000 acre plantation. Who is the owner of this great plantation? The sign on the front says Bunch's Plantation. Why it must be Joe Bunch, owner of half of Wilkinson County. Through the hazy mist we see the great authoress Ann Catchings who has just finished her latest book, SliDDine Around. Her book consists of three easy lessons on how to sneak out at night and let the good times roll. Who is it that we see working in the President's office? Why, it's Mary Ann David, who is now the President's private secretary. We hear Mary Ann is working for the position of the First Lady of the Land. 19
