Staff Responsible for Efficient School Days Woodview's fine personnel is responsible for smooth running school days. Mr. Merl Willen has taken on many responsibilities as new Dean ofBoys. Well suited for his job, Mr. Willen confers with parents and students, helps the administration with discipline and keeps daily attendance records. Mrs. Virginia Blodgett, Dean of Girls, appears in the 1971-72 Wl'lO'S WHO IN AMERICAN WO- Mali With much experience, Mrs. Blodgett not only counsels 7th graders, but also serves as part-time school nurse. The administration relies on the capable assistance of the guid- ance department, media center, bookstore and each teacher for educational growth at Woodview. of Girls. As Woodview guidance counselors, Mrs. Barbara Heck, Mr. Sidney Han- cock and Mrs. Louise Bailey contribute to testing programs, plan schedules and counsel troubled young people. The work of these helpful counselors is coordinated by Mr. Bob Wood. Mr. Merl Willen serves Woodview both as Dean of Boys and Attendance Officer. Mrs. Blodgett has many duties as 7th Grade Counselor and Dean Mrs. Marjorie Vaughn has many duties as guidance secretary.

Book rentals and student fees are collected in the bookstore by Mrs. Doris Caswell. She also helps students find and buy school supplies. Clerks Phyllis Davis and Colleen Patterson help Mrs. Dorothy Orahoocl operate the library. As new librarian, Mrs. Orahood has developed several programs which encourage students to use valuable library fesoufces. Mrs. Pauline Armstrong and Mrs. Mary Nelson aid both teachers and students as well as perform regular secretarial duties. Mrs. Nelson is in charge of daily attendance and I.B.M. report cards. Tardy students and students with doctor appointments sign in with Mrs l Nelson and Mr. Thayer at the attendance desk.
