Administrators and Teachers As principal Mr. Fred Thayer is responsible for leadership in all aspects of school life at Woodview. Responsible for orderly days, assistant principal, Mr. Harold Hickman explains sign-out procedure to student. Focus Efforts The Warren Board of Education and the administration, headed by Mr. Austin Walker, focused their ef- forts on building a fine teaching staff, excellent facilities and a com- prehensive curriculum for Woodview, Mr. Fred Thayer, principal, ap- proached his fourth year of leader- ship responsibilities with fairness. thoughtfulness and vigor. Working with Mr. Thayer was as- sistant principal Mr. Harold Hick- man, whose talent for dealing with people honestly and fairly gave Wooclview two strong leaders to guide students and teachers during 1972. Mr. Hickman has a chance to chat with students as he undertakes lunch room duties with a smile. Mr. Austin Walker, Superintendent and Mr. Edward Cuddy, Assistant Secondary Education, work together to provide Woodview with an excellent educational program.

Book rentals and student fees are collected in the bookstore by Mrs. Doris Caswell. She also helps students find and buy school supplies. Clerks Phyllis Davis and Colleen Patterson help Mrs. Dorothy Orahoocl operate the library. As new librarian, Mrs. Orahood has developed several programs which encourage students to use valuable library fesoufces. Mrs. Pauline Armstrong and Mrs. Mary Nelson aid both teachers and students as well as perform regular secretarial duties. Mrs. Nelson is in charge of daily attendance and I.B.M. report cards. Tardy students and students with doctor appointments sign in with Mrs l Nelson and Mr. Thayer at the attendance desk.
