Undefeated Freshman Wrestling Team Captures County Title by Sizable Margin The freshman wrestling team gave Mr. Gene Nesbit his finest sca- son ever with a record of'12-0-0. During practices after school, the team worked diligently to increase wrestling abilities and endurance. In County Tournament action, the Braves dominated their oppcr nents and won the title by a large margin. County champs for Wood- view this season' were, Ken Denton, Rick Brown and team captain Doug Dwyer. Woodview wrestlers participating in the County Tourney were Pat Means, Gary Brown, Craig Stanley, Mike Walker, Randy Turner, Doug Dwyer, Howard Grounds, Rick Brown, Larry Davis, Ramone Rodrigues and Darrell Hurtley. No team cuts, encouraged wrestlers to keep in top shape. Individual wrestle offs before the matches determined which boy participated in the meet. 8th grader Bob Brown locks Craig opponent into pinning position.
