Freshman library assistant, Ed Massaro places duevdate cards into the checkout file drawer. Each year Wooclview student as- sistants are selected to work in var- ious offices during their free time. Student helpers are also assigned to the bookstore and the library. Running errands, answering the phone and filing are a few of the re- sponsibilities thcse students have. Because of these willing student assistants, the administrative staff can take care of the heavy work and keep the school running smoothly. Robin Wainscott, 8th grade office assistant, takes phone calls and mes- sages for Woodview faculty.

Service Clubs Leading students in community service, the School Council initiated a General Mills' coupon drive in Warren Township for the purchase ofa kidney machine. DEBZ, a ser- vice organization of freshman girls, along with OPS, comprised of fresh- man boys strive to aid school and community. Food and clothing drives. visits to nursing homes, sock hops and skating parties are among club contributions. Honor Society recognizes the academic achievements ofWoocl- view students. Members ITIUSI main- tain a high scholastic average and qualities ofleadership and citizen- ship. Woodview teens against pollu- tion are members of TAP. 8th and 9th grade members publish a news letter to create pollution awareness. School Council officers are Cort Davisson, treasurer, Pam Cox, secretary, jim Broadlick, vice president and Randy Cummings, president. As chairman ofthe coupon drive. Matt Schreiber presents 55.000 General Mills' coupons to a Greenfield service club toward pur- chasing a kidney machine. Wooclview teenagers against pollution are lead by TAP officers, jim Buckland, president, Mark Armour, vice president, Bobby Newcomb, sergeant-atsarms and Linda Keefer, secretary. Club sponsors are Mrs. Barbara Heck and Mr. Sidney Hancock.
