Woodview students FOCUSED their lives on extra-curricular activities as well as academic pursuits in 1972. Fresh to the junior high situation, 7th graders discovered new friends in classmates and teachers. After a year of adjustment, 8th graders gained confidence as they added new subjects and clubs to their schedules. Anticipating an exciting final year, Woodview Freshmen focused attention on new learning experiences, schedule planning and social events. New text books, programs and changes on the faculty helped create classroom challenges. Wood- view athletes displayed spirit and drive as the 9th grade football team defeated their rival Creston for the first time in Woodvicw history. Spirit and unity prevailed in 1972 as students and teachers together enjoyed hikes and field trips.
