f THE PRI CIPAL' MESSAGE As a group you have done well. You have been unselfish in giving of your time and talents, and one rarely finds so many hard working, conscientious, students in one class. Some of you have spent more out of school hours here in this building than any students that I have ever known. Your school has served you as a laboratory in human relations where you have commenced the art of getting along with people. As you continue to meet all kinds of people on both the social and the professional level, try ever to get along with these people. Some of you have not fully made the Golden Rule a par' of your way of life. Your success and your happiness will depend, to a very great extent, upon your ability to get along with people and to put this great prin ciple into practice. Learn early in life to appreciate the good in art, science, music, people and religion. A knowledge of these will not necessarily make your life complete, bi this knowledge will help you develop character. If you acquire character, faith, health, and knowledge, what more does a man need? Wawwfd Md

In dedicating the 1956 annual to Miss Magruder, we are mere- ly acknowledging - not repaying - our large debt of gratitude and ap- preciation to a great librarian, a splendid lady, and a friend whom we shall long remember.
