There are an endless number of scenes, and we can choose which we want to be in and what roles we want to play in our scenes. There are sports scenes, drama scenes, music scenes, learning scenes, art scenes, fashion scenes, and many others. You can make the scene” by being with the group or by being an individual. You can make the scene by getting involved on a team or in a singing group, by getting there and by being the first to spread the news. You can make the scene” by earning your keep and by introducing the latest fashion by leading and following, making choices and mistakes, winning and losing. You make your scene. Some of us choose to play our scenes in life unobtrusively and try to fit in by conforming, being like everybody else, while others love the thrill of being totally different! In a teenager’s hectic world, we all need a break from the pressures of the world around us, to take some quiet time alone to ourselves to find out who we really are. Stop and think, for our actions in today’s scenes especially give more than a hint of our future parts in life. We should choose all our roles carefully because tomorrow is coming. — SB. 3
