Normally, she lives in Paris, but she has traveled to many countries throughout Europe. At Woodruff, she is an eager member of both the Student Council and the OB- SERVER Editorial Staff, In her spare time, she likes to play the guitar, sing, swim, and water ski. When Cathy returns to Paris this fall, she hopes to attend the University of Paris and later, perhaps, enter a French Journalism School. In her speech class, Cathy tells of her most exciting y experience in , America. 24 One of Cathy's many activities at Woodruff is working on the OBSERVER Editorial Staff. Cathy reviews her English before going to her class.

Cheri Raber and Terry Dobbins were presented the 1963 Babe Ruth award by Mr. Bill beighty of the PEORIA JOURNAL STAR'S sports depart- ITICDI. Gary Reece brought recognition to Woodruff by winning the Regional American Legion Oratorical Contest. ,1 r Pt Terry Knapp was awarded first prize in the Elks Youth Leadership competition and the D. A. R. Good Citizenship Award. Award-Winners 26 Bill Martin received the Don Shaver award for his outstanding work as a blocker and tackler on the football team.
