The Christmas season is always a joyous time of the year at Woodruff. Each year the home rooms fill and decorate baskets which are distributed by members of the Warrior Tribe to the needy families of the Peoria area, Student Council works busily to decorate the tree and the Bradley Student Center, which houses the annual Christmas Ball. Then on the day that school dismisses for Christmas vacation, the Christmas assembly is presented, featuring carols sung by the Master Choir, Christmas readings and a play by the speech department, the Yu.letic1e Season This gaily decorated tree, which stands in the front corridor, greets the many Woodruff students and faculty during the Christmas season, Billy Williams and his Orchestra provide the music for the dance, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. Normally, she lives in Paris, but she has traveled to many countries throughout Europe. At Woodruff, she is an eager member of both the Student Council and the OB- SERVER Editorial Staff, In her spare time, she likes to play the guitar, sing, swim, and water ski. When Cathy returns to Paris this fall, she hopes to attend the University of Paris and later, perhaps, enter a French Journalism School. In her speech class, Cathy tells of her most exciting y experience in , America. 24 One of Cathy's many activities at Woodruff is working on the OBSERVER Editorial Staff. Cathy reviews her English before going to her class.
