Jfcfmtntatnat LOUIS R. MCDONA LD Principal Mr. McDonald received his B. S. degree from Bradley University and his M.A. from the Univer- sity of Illinois. He has also done post graduate work at the University of Chicago. His career in education started at Averyville High School where he acted as assistant principal and taught speech and social studies. He later became principal of Kingman High School and was transferred to Woodruff when it opened. Mr. McDonald has spent some of his summers teaching on the Bradley University staff in the School of Education, and for four summers he acted as principal of Brad1ey's laboratory school. BYRON J. DURHAM, M.A. Assistant Principal Mr. Durham received his B.S. degree at Kansas State Teachers College and his M.S. from Bradley. He taught in Kansas and in Morton, Illinois, before coming to Peoria. Mr. Durham has been assistant principal at Woodruff for two years, but he is no new- comer to our school. He was formerly a teacher here, head of the Industrial Arts De- partment and advisor of the Student Council. In the interim, he was assistant principal at Roosevelt Junior High and at Peoria High. DOROTHY M. PETERS, M.A. Dean of Girls Senior Counselor Miss Peters, a newcomer at Woodruff, attended Nebraska University in Lincoln, Neb., where she received her A.B. degree. Her M.A. is from Northwestern University. She taught for several years in the elementary schools of Nebraska before coming to Illinois. She came to us from Manlius, Illinois, where she was assistant principal of the high school. LUV!
