The tea made an outsta ding record in this part of the state. In st re wide competition they made their usual successful showing by winning fifth place. Individual honors were also won by speedster Bill Gillingha . Although only a sophomore, he captured second place in the running We are confident that next year's squad will also make a good show ing a d uphold Woodruff's fine name.

Under the capable coaching of Mr. Boucher amd Mr. Gross, the Warriors, in ten games, won eight games, lost one, a d tied one. For the second straight year, the team has won the city championship. The cha pionship ga e was acuin against Manual. In tying the Ha s, Woodruff was able to retain the city title for the second consecutive year. With the Sophomore tea being undefeated, untied, amd unscored upon, the Warriors are looking forward to another terrific season.
