OOO Tuesday Y-Teens Friendliness to all girls at all times and To face life squarely and to find and give the best have been the aims of the Tuesday Y-Teens. Under the leadership of iss Sally Brown, the Tuesday Y-Teens have par- ticipated in a number of soc-ia events. A few of them are a Popcorn Party at Quetzal Hall early in November, a Valentine Party, a picnic at Balboa Park late in February, and a Splash Party in April. The girls also participated in several Y-Days. i , 4 l Presiding over the fall semester were Mary Lou Stock, Presidentg Annette Mitchell, Vice-presidentg Marlene Hall, Secretaryg and Kaye Hill, Treasurer. During the spring semester the officers were Lauretta Timm, Presidentg Jackie Lorenz, Vice-president, Evelyn Reeves, Secretary. Kaye Hill again served as Treasurer. As a Christmas project, the girls made joke-books for wounded veterans, and Went caroling at the Naval Hospital, and in neighborhoods near the school. A series of talks on Charm and Personality which was attended by both Y-Teens groups completed the yearls activities at Wilson.

Pals Club Elected officers of the Wilson Pals Club during the first semester Were: Max Hash, President, Deron Johnson, Vice-president, David Estey, Secretary, and Nick Gust, Sergeant at Arms. Second semester officers are: President, Derin Johnsong Vice-president, Danny Horneg Secretary, David Estey, and Nick Gust as Sergeant at Arms. The Pals have participated in softball, football, and basketball, in which they captured a second and third for the Pals League, playing against such teams as Dana Kearny, Pacific Beach, Lincoln, and Horace Mann. April 18th, they enjoyed a fine beach party held at Mission Beach. They also had a Father and Son Banquet. Their sponsor is the Police Department, which makes it possible for the Pals to enter free the Midget Auto Races, Padre baseball games, and State College basketball games played at State College. Fred Bates, their coach and leader, comes from State College and is in his senior year. He played offensive back field for the varsity squad. The club's purpose is to help the boys get acquainted and become interested in sports and become fairly good in all recreational sports. Wilson's Bible Club The newly organized Bible Club has been Very successful this year, with anlaverage attendance of thirty members or more. There are no membership re- quirements, and anyone may attend. Shown above are the regular members. To sing and to enjoy fellowship together constitute the purpose of this group, and Scripture readings and Bible study are included. The officers are: President, Marleen Tuck, Vice-president, Emily Saundersg Secretary, Ruth Delfinog Song Leader, Tom Thomas, Pianist, Sue Colvin. Miss Dee Aldridge is their sponsor. 55,3-,xg QL, L15 QM Junior Drama Club i Wedding Rehearsal , a one-act play, recently was given by the Junior Drama Club as their last production of the year. This play was given in a special assembly for the guards. The c1ub's two previous productions were a Christmas play entitled Puppy Love, and a I-Ial1owe'en program for the guards. The club was headed by Leo Newton, President, Kay Nielson, Vice-president, Susan Sellman, Secretaryg for the lst semester. Second semester officers were Janelle McEwen, President, Beverly Palmer, Vice-president, Evelyn Parker, Secretary.
