A LOOK INTO THE FUTURE The biggest challenge to Mr. Warzeski ' s and Nliss Davis ' Civics students in the spring of 1957 was the systematic study of careers. Eacli jjupil cliose a career which interested him es])ecially and then prei)ar( ' (l a booklet on it. Atti-active covers, illus- trations, iiiteiH ' sting iiit I ' oductions, interviews with people on-tlie-jol), and de- scriptions of tlieii- careers, i-esulting from lilirai-y researcli, combined to give the students a look into their vocational futures. The librarian, Miss Blakeslee, was a friend, indeed as she guided the students to materials which she has been collecting for several years and which sbe and her iiionito]- staff reorganized and filed alphabetically according to Forrester ' s Occiipa- IxilidiKil Lifcrafvre during the winter months. Miss Blakeslee wishes to mention es- pecially the help of Miss Ellen Connell, Guidance Coordinator for the Erie School District, who has sent us so much valuable material.
