CLASS PROPHECY It is always hard to predict the future and the seers of this ninth grade class admit that they have probably made many errors but their forecast of things to come should prove interesting to many students who are about to leave Wilson and embark on their high school careers. By 1960 Kathleen Edmonds and Judith Gaylord will be graduate nurses and work- ing in large hospitals. Dave Grimaldi will be know as a second Caruso. Robert Bens and Ronald Wilson will be running against each other for Mayor of the City of Erie. Don Kloss will be chairman of the Democratic party in Erie and Walter Skopow will be running for City Council. Charles Kauffman and Robert Washek will have started a used car business. Lorraine Filipczak will be a successfuful model in New York City. Shirley Martin and Julia Page will be partners in a thriving travel agency. Mary Margaret Wehan will be Superintendant of Nurses and Mary Jane Kolakow- ski will be the Head Nurse in the Children ' s department of a local hospital. Mary Ann Wozniak, Evelyn Bednarski and Ruth Goetzinger will have started their own photographer ' s shop. Kathy Watson will be doing magazine covers for the Saturday Evening Post. Patti Graham and Sue Hammill will be dancers in New York City. Raymond Washburn will be rapping out hits for the Cleveland Indians. Don Wakely will be a forest ranger at one of the National Parks. Margaret Lachesky will combine a career of writing with that of being a house- wife. Betty Taylor and Eileen Gallagher will be stars on television. Mary Lou Niemic will be the head teller at the Marine National Bank. Philip Carlson will be a well known, successful contractor. Mary Ann Wiertel will be a successful fashion designer in New York. Ronald Nutter will have passed the bar exams and will be a successful lawyer. Pat Ball will be running for the office of governor of Pennsylvania. Nancy Patterson will be a theatrical agent. Bill Bowers will be a professional football player. Dan Kelley, whose piano playing on the air thrills thousands, is also a successful mechanical engineer. Ed Post will be a theatrical agent and also Patti Graham ' s business manager. John Douglas will be a mortician who is trying to persuade Sue Hammill to go in business with him. Mary Ann Decker is captain of a girl ' s baseball team. Amelia Fracassi will be a fashion illustrator. Elsa Jefferson is a ranking officer in the Waves. Saralee Rickenbrode is editor of the Woman ' s page of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Kathy Rohan is just starting to buildup a thriving practice as a doctor. Shirley Kemmler will just open her new swanky restaurant. Fred Hassel will be a successful traveling salesman. Lary Freed will be playing in a jazz band in New Orleans. Ivan Runstedler will be a famous wrestler on television. Mary Lou Maxwell will be Superintendent of nurses in a large Cleveland hospital. Mary Ann Rutkowski has a good job as a medical secretary. Marjorie Wolfram will be a successful housewife and mother. , Dottie Dean will be modeling in Chicago. Terri DeMatteo will be a private secretary in New York.
