NORMA J. KALE Zin emnriam Miss Norma J. Kale, who died on March 3, l95 6, will long be remembered by all those who knew her. A teacher of English, remedial reading, and journalism, Miss Kale was greatly liked and respected by both teachers and students. Her generosity and kindness were continually demonstrated when she devoted her time to sponsor- ing the Beacon. Being in a class of Miss Kalels was a pleasure, for she succeeded in making her subject matter both interesting and easy to comprehend. As she was a sincere, unpretentious person, Miss Kale placed importance on nature and the worth of human character, rather than on material possessions. Her quiet personal charm and understanding nature made knowing Miss Kale a Valuable and memorable experience. 13
