Co-Captain Jeff Kania, Coach Baldwin. Co-Captain Bob Belury This year’s swim season record of 5-10 was a vast improvement over last year’s I- 11 record. According to school records, this year’s record is a school record for the number of swim meets won in a season. The ’Cats have begun to overcome many of the obstacles faced by last year’s swim team. The team now consists of 28 members, which gives the team the depth which it has always so sorely needed. Also, the promise of a swimming pool in the very near future solves the problem of in- adequate practice facilities. This year's squad was led by Captains Jeff Kania and Bob Belury. This year and in the years to come Coach Baldwin, in his second year as coach of the Wildcats, will be depending on the strength of the underclassmen. Members of this year’s swim team who established new records are Jon Rose, Ste- fan Hesselberg, Matt Hejna, and David Kania for the 400 yard free-style relay. David Kania also established new school records for the 50 and 100 yard free-style events.
