l 1 . .ag fn The Class of 1958 leaves Woodrow Wilson Senior High School to enter the adult world at a most cru- cial time. The launching of an earth satellite with its impli- cations for the future welfare of this country has focused much attention upon the importance of a good education. The staff of this school has always realized the importance of a good education and has tried, within the limits of its energy. to instill within each of you the will and the desire to accomplish to the utmost of your ability, The answer to how successful it has been in this effort lies in the future. However, to each of you success and the best of luck. CH AUNCEY J. COPELAND Principal TO THE CLASS OF 1958- Some things in school and life are learned directly and other things you learn indirectly. We refer to these items as concomitant learnings. In your Mem- orial Page dedicated to Binlcy Minor you have exhibit- ed a concomitant learning-that of thoughtfulness. If I could congratulate you, the Class of 1958, on only one thing in your whole school life, it would be on the fineness of this gesture, perhaps the last official act you take as high school undergraduates. Your thoughtfulness will bring some degree of hap- piness and pride to Binky's parents, Dr. and Mrs. Minor, and to his brother William. Binky, in his modest way, would not have sought this honor. But, Binky, we want you to accept it, because it is just the way we all felt about you. May God bless you, the Class of 1958-May God bless Binky-always. CREIGHTON F. MAGOUN Superintendent .. 'if
