CLASS PROPHECY You Are There l.adies and gentlemen, through the medium of the communitagraph we are bringing you this momentous event of the thousandth Hight to Mars. This is your announcer Keith Moorhead speaking. The scene here is awesome. The huge new rocket designed by the well-known scientific team of Peckham, Strickland, and Church is ready for flight and is being maneuvered out into the x-K705 launcher by the atomic powered cat with jimmy Thompson and Ken Flanagan shoveling atoms into the cyclotron. Ray Jurczak and Albert Albanese are directly behind the hydraulic steering apparatus. I am unable to describe the panorama of the mechanical contrivance brought here to the empty reaches of the Gobi Desert. You have no idea of the great engineering feat accomplished by our sponsor the Universal Construction Company owned and operated by Betty liurneta, Lucille Passanisi, and jean Laczak. In the intervening moments before the rocket is launched, I will take my microphone down among the assembled dignitaries who have come to witness this great historical event, Pardon me, while I put on my flying belt and hover here above the crowd. just below me, I see Al Schulcoske, the president of the Solar Explorers Club. Standing at his right are his secretaries Marie Barbieri and Christine Pagerino. Oh, there is the renowned journalist, Martha Strick- land. recording this memorable occasion for posterity. By the way, I might mention that she is using one of her many contributions to stenography, stricltleliand, which has replaced the Gregg shorthand system. And there we see the lirst woman to solo around jupiter, Hedy Przybylski, wearing the O X 5 L . 1 0 ' O ' , . zo.: . ' , 0 o a 30
