But he has yet to sever the cord of gravity that binds his body to earth or extricate himself from the web of prejudices and prefabricated thoughts with which society has bound his mind to conventionalism. Throughout life, by absorbing only the philosophies and standards of the world, he is made to view society only from societyls tinted standpoint. Yet, by straining hard enough, he can break his bonds and emerge free from his hackneyed ideas to give life a new look, crisp and fresh. The '59 Class entered the tenth grade at Woodrow Wilson in September 19563 this was the same year I became principal. My association with you has been a pleasant one. I thank each and everyone for whatever contribution he has made to his school during the past three years. This is the beginning of a new experience for you. I wish you every success and enjoyment.
