The holding of American hostages by Iranian students at the American Embassy in Tehran, lran was certainly a main event this year in the lives of every U.S. citizen. President Carter asked that Americans show their support for the hastages in several ways. Wilson students carried American flags, wore symbolic arm bands, and signed petitions demanding the 1m- mediate release of the hostages. SCOTT ROSS THORPE (Burfert) Wrestling JV 1, V 2,3.
