Foreword WHAT'S in a letter? The familiar WWHS took on a two-fold meaning in '62-'63 as Work, Win, Honor, and Scholarship became bywords. WORK: From the opening day of school we were conditioned by homework outlines book reports quizzes... labs discussions oral reports research themes tests college boards exams. WIN: Competition was keen throughout the year in football cross country basketball wrestling track baseball tennis golf intramurals homecoming floats school spirit all state band and chorus contest play homeroom competition debate elections awards day. HONOR: We were reminded constantly of this quality by Honor Court Wilson Code the signing ofthe pledge scrolls sports- manship assembly exam prayers motto. SCHOLARSHIP: This was an individual matter evidenced by daily effort principal's list quiz bowls National Honor Society scholastic team. It is the hope of the staff that this 1963 President will be a constant reminder of the year when our motto was 5
