There is a word which we, the January Class of 1943, hesitate to say today and that is goodbye. Most of us never realized that this world could come to mean so much to us as it does at this moment. Its meanings are numerous — meanings which are not found in the dictionary but which we feel down deep in our hearts. Knowing that we will no longer be able to have the understanding guidance of Mr. Glasgow, and the faculty, leaves a feeling of emptiness within us. We should like to say at this time that we could have chosen none finer, more apt, or more willing to aid us than Miss Cummings and Mr. Hartman, our class sponsors. As a whole, from this day on we are no longer a part of Wilson High. Those of you who are graduating later on will know then what we are trying to put into words now.
