Another June brings the 1942-1943 Orion, ably edited by Nellie Krill, Theresa Thurik and Mary Jane Paul . . . Capably guided by Mr. Williamson, founder and director . . . Miss Has- tings, art director . . . and Mrs. Muldoon, editor-adviser ... It is a symbol of Wilson ' s growth . . . Bill Morgan, acting as adver- tising business manager, has done a commendable job ... In the Art Department, and doing competent work, we have Martha Gagyi and Robert Hoover . . . Mother ' s Little Helpers, Henry Becker, Bob Childs, Randall LaVogue, Gertrude Murar and Edward Yurick cooperated splendidly, displaying unusual ability ... It is our sincere hope that the Orion, published in this year of 1943, will serve as a memento, not only of our activities and achievements, but also of our boys who will be leaving soon for the Armed Forces ... of our teachers who guided and encour- aged us along the way . . . also a reminder for the undergradu- ates who wish to remember Wilson as it was this year. Greetings From The Orion Staff ■ (!( Page Six }

Occi SufrenlfttcHctetit At the close of his second year as Superintendent of the Youngstown Public Schools, George A. Bowman has earned a definite place in the community life for notable achievements in his chosen work. A believer in the three dimensional— culture of body, mind, and spirit, Mr. Bowman goes alertly, seemingly effortlessly, on his way, adjusting the curricula of elementary and secondary schools to meet the needs of war time demands. Wilson stands at salute to Superintendent Bowman. • { Page Five
